Are you wondering what artistic research processes on the master’s program in performing arts look like? Then this is the day for you.
During CirkusMania, students at Stockholm University of the Arts invite audiences to take part in their creative processes. Circus art as a practice alternates between human and non-human encounters in interactive open spaces, conversations, and encounters between audience and performer. With material as a starting point (in the sense of things, materials, objects), the students invite you to discover new perspectives on what participation and spectatorship can mean.
In the Master’s Program in Performing Arts, artistic practice is deepened by developing research-based, investigative methods within respective fields of study. The Master’s students 2021-2023 at Stockholm University of the Arts’ department of Performing Arts have the opportunity to develop knowledge of methods and processes in artistic research, take part in current research and develop the ability to share their knowledge with others.
ON STAGE, STUDENTS FROM THE MASTER PROGRAM IN PERFORMING ARTS:
Eva von Hofsten, Marina Rieger
IN COLLOBORATION WITH:
Martha Banal Fernández, Eszter Mag
ARTISTS FROM THE BACHELOR PROGRAM IN CIRCUS:
David Martin, Florimond Dumas, Laura Savolainen, Tobias Niemöller, Viola Fossi
